Fourteen useful answers.
What does the scan read, and what does it miss?
We inspect public pages and supporting files, up to 150 pages per site. Discovered URLs are not inspected pages. Private, blocked or unavailable pages are outside the captured evidence. Read the details.
What can I see for free, and what does sealed mean?
Category scores and selected findings are free. Sealed means the finding or its details are hidden in that view. Paid reports open available detailed findings and export files. Read the details.
How often can I run a free scan?
Anonymous visitors get 1 fresh scan per site per month. A free account gets 2 fresh scans per site per month. Read the details.
What do the three check counts mean?
The catalog has 187 registered detectors and 15 scoring-eligible evaluators. The conditions measured per scan vary with applicability and captured inputs. There are 14 distinct eligible conditions because the title condition is counted once. Read the details.
Can a score change when the method changes?
Yes. Saved report #670 uses legacy evidence-v2004. New reports use measured-condition scoring from v2006. Compare scoring versions and dated evidence before treating score movement as a site change. Read the details.
Does AuditLamp predict rankings or AI citations?
No. The scan does not measure rankings or AI citations. A pass is evidence about a condition, not an outcome. Connected Search Console can show observed performance when available. Read the details.
Does AuditLamp fix my website for me?
No. You or your developer make the change. Generic repair steps, generated files and AI-written drafts all require review before publishing. Read the details.
How does a recheck decide whether a repair passes?
It fetches one page again and evaluates one supported condition. Fresh passing evidence can confirm that scope. Failure or unknown evidence never confirms a repair. It does not update the saved report. Read the details.
What do Search Console and Monitor need?
Search Console needs an eligible Google property and a valid read-only connection. Monitor needs a paid monitored site. Its scheduler and mailer are designed for weekly scans and emails on score drops or new gate failures. These capabilities have connection and workflow limits. Read the details.
Who can read a share link?
Anyone with an active share link can read its free report view. The owner can revoke it. The link is unguessable and noindex, but noindex is not access control. Read the details.
What permissions does the Chrome extension request?
The extension requests activeTab and scripting to inspect the current tab when you invoke it. The page inspector requires no signup. Read the details.
What are the MCP limits?
An agent scan defaults to 10 pages and allows at most 25. Anonymous callers receive sealed output. A valid paid Bearer token unlocks full output according to its access. The tools are read-only. Read the details.
What happens at a plan limit, and how do I cancel?
The plan stops at its limit instead of adding automatic overage charges. Review the usage shown in your dashboard before running another scan. You can cancel a monthly plan from your dashboard. Full Report is a one-time purchase and has no monthly renewal. Read the details.
Which crawler is making the request?
AuditLamp identifies its crawler and describes its purpose on the crawler information page. A reported access rule is evidence of a policy, not proof of a visit or citation by another bot. Read the details.
